Myntra has appointed former top Google executive and co-founder of Google Chromecast, Ambarish Kenghe, as the senior vice president and head of product.

Kenghe will join Myntra at the end of July and report to the company’s chief executive Mukesh Bansal. Kenghe will work toward scaling up business activities and thr product roadmap at Myntra, with a focus on the smartphone platform revolution in India. Myntra is now a mobile-only e-commerce website.

Kenghe has over 15 years of experience in product development and management, and was also a key member of the Google TV team that helped build the first android compatible TV. He was instrumental in its conceptualisation, making it one of the best selling electronic devices and one of the highly decorated hardware products from Google.
