Twyst is a technology start-up based out of Gurgaon, NCR. Twyst allows retailers to create powerful and yet flexible marketing programs to improve customer loyalty. The Twyst phone app gives users personalized and relevant recommendations about outlets, and allows them to get recognized and rewarded.

Twyst has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Taplow Executive Search’s Rohit Bhatia, serial entrepreneur Sunil Nikhar and other investors. Twyst will use the funds raised to expand operations to other Indian cities and for acquiring more customers.

Twyst is customer engagement using smart rewards. Twyst helps users get more out eating out or ordering in by allowing users to discover, check-in to, and unlock rewards at restaurants, cafes, bakeries and pubs around them. Merchants on Twyst can engage with customers through a variety of reward programs that help them track customer visits, and do targeted, personalised messaging that helps unlock more value from existing customers and acquire new ones.

It claims to have a user base of over 150,000, of which 45 per cent are repeat users. It competes with the likes of Crownit, Clozerr and Paymango.
