GymTrekker, an online fitness discovery platform for  health & fitness solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount from a clutch of angel investors, including MD and CEO of Atom Technologies, Devang Naralla.

The company  founded by three chartered accountants, an IT professional and a hotelier six months ago, aggregates gyms and fitness establishments across various cities.

The portal has listed more than 3000 fitness centres and is live in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. The company is also looking to expand its presence other parts of the county in the coming 3 to 4 months. Few of these cities include Goa, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh and Jaipur.

The funds will mainly be used for expansion of the existing platform.

We have already developed a large net work of gyms & fitness centres and the funds would be used for expansion of the existing platform,” said Sanmati Pande, one of the founders of GymTrekker.

Industry experts believe that the initiative would bridge the gap between members and fitness centres by providing convenience and connect on the go.
