Test preparation organisation Career Power is in the market to raise Rs 65 crore in funding, and has mandated global financial services giant Ernst and Young to scout for potential investors.

The company, which provides coaching services for Bank and Staff Selection Commission jobs entrance exams in India, plans to use the proceeds from the potential round of funding, its first, to strengthen its technology infrastructure, enhance its online product portfolio, as well as towards brand building.

It will look at raising money from venture capital and strategic investors. Career Power, which operates two bilingual platforms – bankersadda.com and sscadda.com, will also look to expand its reach and presence in the country’s tier-1 and tier-2 cities, as well as launch multilingual platforms down the line.
