Matchmaking is a very interesting word. When you look up Matchmaking literally is the process of matching two or more people together, usually for the purpose of marriage, but the word is also used in the context of sporting events such as boxing, in business, in online video games and in pairing organ donors. Well, that certainly holds true. Matchmaking is important not just for marriage but infact for all spheres of business these days. This is exactly what the data-driven matchmaking tool Hirearkhy from Spurrin does for employers and job seekers.
Hirearkhy is the first product from Spurrin Innovation Pvt Ltd. Hirearkhy is a data-driven matchmaking tool for employers and job seekers. Hirearkhy uses dating site technology as a model for matching job seekers with an employer. After screening over 30 data points’ using proprietary machine learning algorithm, curated matches are directly delivered to both users based on the relevance. Users have the choice to accept or reject and can completely remain anonymous until both sides agree to match, much like a dating site.
Spurrin Innovation Pvt. Ltd. was founded by Ravi Krishnan and Siddeeque C A in the year 2015 and is based out of Bangalore. Ravi is the co-founder and chief enthusiast at Hirearkhy. Once both parties agree to match the communication can be further taken ahead using a two way chat system.
The product is currently in private beta and will soon be open to startups and bigger companies. For now, Hirearkhy is focusing on tech industry in India, primarily matching software developers, creative professionals (UX/Design), sales/marketing professionals. Hirearkhy’s business model is very similar to traditional consultancy, charging a minimal hiring fee (success fee) for each hire, however, will be soon switching to subscription based model to scale up to a broader market.
Spurrin demystifies the innovation process, providing brilliant basics, a clear vision and structured road map. They also encourage their partners to think like start-ups, helping them to become agile and responsive, enabling a cultural shift to be made in the way they think and operate, so that innovation can flourish.
