They make high quality pocket friendly contemporary clothing. They provide access to the latest trends of the current season at affordable prices. Crosstitch has designed a range of affordable women’s shirts in bright and vibrant colors and prints that would help make a fashionable statement at the workplace. Besides that they also have a range of hand painted silk scarves which have been crafted by Indian artisans.
New Delhi based Crosstitch is the brainchild of Sahiba Joher. She is a Delhi University graduate with a master of commerce. Sahiba,while working as an audit associate in Ernst & Young, realised the lack of smart formal wear for women in the market.The main reason being the less choices available for good quality affordable AM to PM clothing.She believed that this market of fashion has a a lot of opportunities that are yet to be explored and thus decided to quit her job and come up with a label that was inline with the true essence of Make In India and which catered to the needs of working women. They currently have a team of 5 full time employees and 3 part time employees.
Their strategy for scaling up is to market extensively to reach out to more customers in different areas and regions of India. Also,within the coming year they wish to tie-up with leading retail stores so as to have more reach and have off-line and online presence. They also try to work towards getting repetitive sales.
