Healthcare platform Practo and taxi aggregator Ola have partnered to allow their patients book rides directly from the Practo app. Consumers across India will now be able to book an Ola cab ahead of their doctor’s appointments, directly from Practo app.
As part of the partnership, patients can book an Ola Micro, Mini, Prime or Lux, before heading out for their scheduled appointments.
Practo users will also get a reminder an hour prior to the scheduled appointment, allowing them to make use of Ola’s ‘Ride Later’ feature to book a ride in advance. Once the trip starts, the user’s final destination will be auto-filled on the driver’s app, ensuring peace of mind for consumers. ETAs as low as 4 minutes and maximum availability across categories on the Ola app, enhances the value proposition for Practo users by enabling access to the best of medical practitioners in the city.
Varun Dubey, VP Marketing and Head of Monetization, Practo said, “We want to provide the most seamless healthcare experience to consumers. As we continue our expansion into 100 cities and towns in India, our partnership with Ola will help millions of consumers in urban centres as well as in Tier II and Tier-III towns to seamlessly commute for their doctor’s appointments. This partnership will be of immense help for our users to reach on time for their doctor’s appointment. This is another step in our goal to help people live healthier, longer lives by simplifying healthcare access.”
We are looking at a number of solutions to provide an integrated mobility experience to our customers and this is one such example. By associating with likeminded companies that understand the market like we do, we are confident that customers will stand to benefit the most.” said Pranay Jivrajka, COO at Ola.
