The company is founded by Swapnil Kamat and Ruchira Karnik in the year 2008 and is based out of Mumbai. Swapnil began his career with Wipro Infotech Channel Partners. Later he worked at L’Oreal as a Brand Manager. His entrepreneurial journey began with trip2goa.com which he eventually exited to start Work Better. He has trained over 37000 executives across leading Indian companies. Swapnil has been featured on CNBC TV18 Young Turks as one of India’s young achievers besides being featured in The Economic Times, Business India & The Times of India. He has published over 85 Columns and Articles in leading business papers and magazines. Ruchira has helped in establishing Work Better as one of the leading companies in the Executive training space. She has been instrumental in bringing the firm where it stands now. She graduated from Goa University with honours in Bio – Technology in 2002.She started her career working with BPO Giants such as Intelenet & 3 Global Services which helped her develop a global perspective to business. She began her Entrepreneurial journey after her stint as the Regional Manager – Advertising, Western India for the World’s foremost lifestyle Magazine ELLE Decor. Ruchira has been featured on The Economic Times, The Times of India and various other national media as a successful woman entrepreneur. She has been instrumental in driving innovative practical training solutions giving Work Better a definitive edge over its competitors.
The Work Better team comprises of 30 people from absolutely diverse professional backgrounds. Though it is a training company, most of their people have come to them with different experience from varied fields of work, with a love for Learning & Development and the outlook to drive real change in the way professionals works. They have biotechnology graduates, PhDs in Genetic Engineering, mechanical engineers, commerce graduates, arts graduates, MBAs, Instructional Designers, et al.
