Based out of Mumbai, Vamaship was co-founded by Bhavik Chinai and Rohit Chemburkar in 2015.
23 years old, Bhavik Chinai, is the Founder and CEO of Vamaship, which he claims to be the world’s first integrated logistics platform which facilitates shipping via air, ocean and surface of any commodity, globally. Bhavik has been the receipient of the prestigious Economic Times – Young Supply Chain Professional of the Year award. Prior to Vamaship, he worked on his family business. His focus has been on setting global benchmarks in stakeholder satisfaction.
Bhavik is also an active angel investor and invests in tech enabled startups, through BVC Ventures and is also a part of several angel networks. He persued his education from Harvard, London School of Economics, Indian School of Business and Narsee Monjee, and has gained experience in venture capital, supply chain management and events before starting up. Bhavik is currently a part of The Indus Entrepreneurs, CII Young Indians, Family Business Network – West India Committee and FICCI.
Co-founder and CTO, Rohit Chemburkar is a new-age technocrat with an eye for innovative technological solutions for problem solving. As a part of his responsibility at Vamaship, he spearheads the tech team, devising and executing the organisation’s technical strategy. Rohit is also responsible for researching new and emerging technologies and incorporating solutions to benefit the company. Having graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, in Computer Science, Rohit completed his Masters in Computer Networking from Stratford University, London. He started his career as Technical Projects Manager at Aurora TechSolution Pvt. Ltd in 2005, and has been associated with Media2win and Its4Solution Pvt. Ltd.
