Digital content service provider YAAP has acquired digital marketing solutions provider FFC Information Solution Pvt Ltd for an amount that has not been disclosed yet. The strategic aim of this acquisition looks like to strengthen its position as a specialised content creator while focussing on its major services, including content design, discovery, and distribution. As part of this deal, Seeraj Katoch, founder, FFC will join YAAP’s senior management team as a partner.
FFC was founded in year 2011 by Seeraj Katoch and works with brands like Microsoft, Dow Jones, Reed Elsevier, Sify, Tata Group, Casio, Asus, and Reliance Digital amongst others. FFC offers marketing solutions to its users in terms of delivering quality brand experiences and creating the hype around user’s products by producing branded content. It also had plans to launch a tech platform that would enable brands and influencers to engage with each other. How the acquisition will impact the plans that the venture had, is somthing that we will have to see in the future.
Commenting on the acquisition, Seeraj Katoch, founder, FFC Information Solution said:

Mumbai-based YAAP was founded by digital media professionals, Nikhil Bapat and Manan Kapur. It focusses on branded content, digital show formats, syndication, brand and visual identity; offers organised influencer research and outreach. It also looks at programmatic content placement, alliances, and channel partnerships. The company raised USD 5 Mn funding from Rainmaker Ventures in July this year. In September , it acquired Brand Planet Consultants for USD3 Mn (INR 20 Cr) in an all-cash deal.
