TVS Group is an Indian diversified industrial conglomerate with its principal headquarters located in Madurai and presence across the Globe. Almost all holdings of the group are private. The largest and most visible subsidiary is TVS Motor Company, the third-largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India. TVS Group, with group revenue of more than US$6 billion, is an automotive conglomerate company, specialized in manufacturing of two-wheeler, three-wheeler, auto-electricals components, high tensile fasteners, die casting products,dealership business, brakes, wheels, tyres, axles, seating systems, fuel injection components, electronic and electrical components and many more.

In a fresh move to expand horizons, TVS & Sons Group has acquired Bengaluru-headquartered, a provider of vehicle inspection technology and CRM solutions. The acquisition was an all-cash deal.

CheckGaadi is a startup that provides hassle free “vehicle inspection services” for 2-wheelers and 4-wheeler vehicles. It also provides bike-servicing on its platform. This innovative startup was founded in the year 2015 by  Amit Nigam and Sudhakar KSS.

The CheckGaadi customer engagement solution relies on predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms. It makes use of vehicle health information to make predictions about its future and automatically determines the best time and context to connect with the customer.

With this move, proprietary technology of CheckGaadi will be transferred to TVS. It will continue business operations as part of TVS. This move will see  CheckGaadi founders joining TVS & Sons as part of the agreement.
