Ever since the Startup revolution gripped the country, Bangalore has been the front runner in this race. Well adding another feather to its already decorated hat, Bangalore made it to the news yet again, for all good reasons. As per the latest updates from the startup hub, Halli Labs a Bangalore based AI startup has been acquired by Google.
The acquisition will allow Google to utilise advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to upgrade older domains and platforms for better performance.
Halli Labs was jointly founded by Pradhuman Jhala and data scientist Pankaj Gupta, who previously served as Stayzilla’s chief technology officer, in April this year.
The company stated in a blog post,
Today, we are thrilled to share the news that the Halli Labs team is joining Google. As we wrote in our introductory blog post, Halli Labs was founded with the goal of applying modern AI and ML techniques to old problems and domains — in order to help technology enable people to do whatever it is that they want to do, easier and better.
Well, what better place than Google to help us achieve this goal. We will be joining Google’s Next Billion Users team to help get more technology and information into more people’s hands around the world. We couldn’t be more excited!
