1. Ninjacart

Ninjacart helps supermarkets and kirana stores source fresh fruits and vegetables, staples and FMCG goods directly from farmers and brands. This year, it has raised Rs 20 crore in a funding round led by Accel Partners.

Ninjacart was founded by Nagarajan, Sharath Loganathan, Kartheeswaran K K, Ashutosh Vikram, Sachin Jose and Vasudevan Chinnathambi, who have previously worked with companies like Taxiforsure, Ola, Commonfloor and Verizon in May 2015 as a hyperlocal grocery delivery company.

2. Dunzo

Dunzo came into existence in 2015. This innovative startup was founded by Ankur Aggarwal, Dalvir Suri, Mukund Jha and Kabeer Biswas. Dunzo is run by Dunzo Digital Pvt Ltd. The chat-based task management app allows users to create to-do lists through the app; collaborate on tasks; and have them get done by dunzo.

Bangalore-based daily tasks management app dunzo has raised $650,000 in pre-Series A round of funding led by Aspada Investment Advisors and Blume Ventures.

3. WheelStreet

Wheelstreet.in is a product of Bashar Technologies Pvt Ltd that caters to an online platform for all the bike lovers across India. They connect bike owner to the renter and provide hassle free bike renting experience.

Founded in 2014 by Moksha Srivastava, Mritunjay Kumar and Pranay Shrivastava, Wheelstreet is a bike rental platform that offers two-wheelers on rent including scooters, commuter bikes, sports bikes, super bikes and premium bikes.

4. Touchkin

Founded by Ramakant Vempati and Jo Aggarwal in 2015, Touchkin makes use of sensors in the smartphone to determine the time when a person may be in need of care. Its machine learning platform identifies potential health issues through changes in communication, sleep patterns and activity as tracked passively from a person’s phone.

The startup raised $400,000 in seed funding from a group of angel investors. The bunch of investors include Alok Mittal (ex-Canaan Partners), Amit Gupta (cofounder of InMobi), Anuj Srivastava (CEO of Livspace), Himanshu Aggarwal (CEO of Aspiring Minds), Raghunandan G (co-founder TaxiForSure) and Puneet Agarwal (co-founder of Moneyview).

5. HashLearn

HashLearn was founded in 2013 by Jayadev Gopalakrishnan and Gokul Janga. It is building a scalable platform connecting educators and students, starting with test­prep. It covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math – Board & Entrance Exams from class 8-12.

The on-demand tutoring app that connects students with tutors has got backing from a plethora of ace list investors which include Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal, Google India head Rajan Anandan, People Group founder Anupam Mittal and others.

6. Drivojoy

Drivojoy was founded in June 2015 by Aman Singhal, an IIT Bombay alumnus who has earlier worked with Olacabs; Vishwanath Kollapudi, who has previously worked with Olacabs and Tata Consultancy Services; and Ravindra Akella who has earlier worked with Microsoft.

The DrivoJoy platform allows users to book bike repair and maintenance services at a place and time of their choice. The startup had earlier raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from friends and family.

7. Wealthy

Wealthy was founded in September 2015 by Aditya Agarwal and Prashant Gupta. The startup provides investment related advice and allows users to make tax-saving investments and claims to conclude deals in less than three minutes.

The startup raised Rs 1.6 crore angel funding in angel funding from a group of investors including Toppr.com co-founder Zishaan Hayath.

8. Highway Delite

Highway Delite was founded in 2015 by Rajesh Kumar, a former engineer at German auto supplier Bosch, the startup aims to to address issues of hygiene faced by commuters on Indian highways by providing verified and reviewed database of restaurants and other necessary services required while commuting.

The startup raised funding led by N.S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, the incubation unit of IIM Bangalore.

9. Gapoon

Gapoon was founded in 2015 by Apoorva Mishra, Ankita Asai, Ankit Bindal and Nikhil Gupta, with the aim of providing a one-click, one-stop solution for all home maintenance requirements.

The startup offers home maintenance services in both on-demand and subscription model, has secured close to $180K from a group of investors, including entrepreneur and investor, Mr. Chandrashekar Tallapragada.

10. Gear6

Founded in 2016 by Rakesh Vaddadi, Srikanth Nelakuditi, Kumud Kumar and Harrsha Chaittanya, Gear6 is an online motorcycle repair and maintenance service that helps in easing the bike maintenance troubles.

The startup has raised $500K in a seed round funding from Ninestarter, an early-stage seed investment company.
