TrueFan AI Secures $10M Series A to Power the Next Wave of Enterprise Video Communication

Gurugram-based TrueFan AI has closed a $10 million Series A funding round, backed by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3Partners, with further participation from IAN Alpha Fund and 3Lines Venture Capital.
The raise comes at an inflection point for enterprise AI in India. From AI-native chip startups like HRDWYR pulling $13M to Qualcomm committing $150M to Indian AI ventures, capital is flowing fast into India’s AI infrastructure layer — and TrueFan AI is now firmly part of that story.
The fresh capital will drive TrueFan AI’s expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States, markets where multilingual enterprise video communication remains largely unsolved.
What TrueFan AI Does — And Why Enterprises Are Paying for It
TrueFan AI is an enterprise AI video platform that generates thousands of personalised videos from a single five-minute recording. That number scales to 500,000 videos per minute and spans 175+ languages — making it one of the most capable personalised video generation platforms built for enterprise use anywhere in the world.
The platform integrates directly with CRMs, WhatsApp, and RCS messaging, removing the deployment barrier that has historically kept video from becoming a default enterprise communication channel. Sectors already using it include banking and financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, and media.
Active clients include Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Axis Max Life Insurance, Zomato, Cipla, BharatPe, and Goibibo — a roster that signals deep enterprise trust, not just early pilots.
The Numbers Behind the Pitch: 11x Revenue Growth in 20 Months

TrueFan AI’s financial trajectory is what makes this funding round credible, not just compelling. The company grew from 5 million videos generated annually to over 20 million within a year and is on track to hit 50 million videos in 2025.
Revenue for FY2025 came in at ₹17.1 crore, up from ₹7.4 crore in FY2024 — a 130%-plus jump. Losses narrowed from ₹13.9 crore to ₹8.8 crore. Over 20 months, the company reported 11x revenue growth.
What stands out for investors is the burn discipline. CEO Nimish Goel has stated the company’s burn rate is just 10% of revenue — a figure rare enough in high-growth AI startups to become a talking point in its own right.
AI Avatars, Celebrity Likenesses, and Personalised Video at Scale
One of TrueFan AI’s most differentiated assets is its library of AI avatars built for over 150 celebrities and brand ambassadors — including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant.
For brands running celebrity-led campaigns, the implication is significant. A single recorded session can generate thousands of contextualised, personalised videos — adapted by language, region, or customer segment — without requiring the celebrity’s repeated presence. It reframes what personalised video at scale actually means in practice.
“AI has fundamentally changed the economics of video creation. It is inevitable that video generation will become as simple as typing an email. With that, video shall become the core layer of communication for enterprises.” — Nimish Goel, Co-Founder and CEO, TrueFan AI
Real-Time AI Video Agents: Beyond Pre-Recorded Personalisation

TrueFan AI is also building real-time AI video agents — systems that interact with customers dynamically, not just play back pre-generated clips. Use cases include customer support, inbound sales, onboarding, and product discovery.
This positions TrueFan AI squarely in the conversational AI and video commerce market, which analysts project will reach $900 billion globally. The same financial institutions driving India’s broader AI adoption — including players backing funds like Bajaj Finserv’s AI startup initiative with IIT Bombay — are already TrueFan AI customers, which makes the convergence harder to ignore.
What Convinced the Investors
Arul Mehra, Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners India, pointed directly to enterprise depth: “The platform is already deeply embedded in the workflows of some of India’s largest enterprises, which reflects both the strength of the product and the scale of the shift underway in enterprise video communication.”
Sarika Saxena, Managing Partner at IAN Alpha Fund, zeroed in on the multilingual edge: “Building an AI video platform that matches global peers on quality at a fraction of their cost is hard. Doing it across 175-plus languages is what makes TrueFan rare.”
The case wasn’t built on vision alone — it was built on customer proof.
The Pivot That Built a Platform

Founded in early 2020 by Nimish Goel and Devender Bindal, TrueFan AI started as a celebrity fan engagement app before pivoting to enterprise AI video in early 2024. Zomato was its first enterprise client. In under two years since the pivot, the company has reached 100+ enterprise customers and a team of 110+ employees.
That pivot — from consumer novelty to enterprise infrastructure — is the defining strategic move behind everything that followed.
What Comes Next
With $10 million in new capital, TrueFan AI’s priorities are clear: scale AI infrastructure, build out real-time video agent capabilities, and establish a foothold in international markets where personalised enterprise video communication is still an open problem.
For India’s growing AI ecosystem — where chip startups, fintech AI funds, and global strategic investors are all converging — TrueFan AI’s Series A adds another data point to a thesis that is becoming harder to argue against.
